YOLCG In Godot! This is an older game where you are invited to come take care of Ayla after winning a game of the same premise. There are four different endings, can you get them all?
When you start you will need to buy different chemicals and equipment to help manage her happiness and productivity and become the best cow she can be.
How to play:
1. Select a milking tool from the menu in the bottom right, or buy an upgraded one in the shop.
2. Then pick a container in the top right, and drag it to the blue pump. (I recommend starting with bottles until you can make +3L)
3. Manage Ayla's happiness and production through help from the chemicals and better pumps from the store until the end of the 5th week.
NOTE: The SULMF tool is useable, if you are struggling in early game. You just have to figure out the code. I wanted to make sure that cheat was useable incase anyone was having trouble getting all the endings.
Background:
This is a remake project I have been working on while learning Godot. I remember this game fondly and would like to create a version that can be played without needing a flash player. Currently I am working on this off and on among other projects and studies so I don't expect this will be completed too quickly.
I've kind of hit the point where I'm not able to find all the bugs anymore myself, and the rubber ducky I've been using to debug has turned into a cow itself... so with a minimally viable product I bring something for others to check out too. My goal would be to get the secrets and extras in and clean up some of the default ui by mid-April. Once that is done I will either scope creep myself into complete burnout (I've already thought about adding some idle sounds to learn how that works later), or just support big bug fixes while I move onto my own ideas.
WARNING: This is pretty rough around the edges right now. The original game is free, as is this one. If you enjoy the game but have trouble with mine, please show support to the original authors.
I am leaving donations up just for fun. I do have some interest doing a bit more past the original game (some art or sound effects or something else) so if I do end up doing that, those donations will help fund that. Once this project is done those funds will go to help with other ideas.
TO DO:
- Add the tutorial arrows to explain how to play
- Update game with a hard mode. (toggle currently does nothing)
- Add way to check the specs of the milking tools so you aren't blindly buying bad poor choices. (I don't want to use the tool tips like I did with the chemicals)
- Update animations to include the tools and lines to the pump
- Update any dialog between normal and hard mode that needs redone
- Make the menus fit the window, and my poor menu layout
- fix some bugginess and add hot keys for the containers
- tweak values so it's a bit harder (currently weenie hut junior difficulty)
STRETCH GOALS:
- Add some subtle sound effects
- Modify the dialog box to be more free floating speech bubbles
- A secret third thing

How to play Fullscreen?
Gotta say, I'm very happy to see this project, even if it's not perfect. I'd love to see a modernized version of this game, like gameplay and animation-wise too.

is 17.7 liters the max size? i cant seem to get more milk than that

also what the hell is ending A? what conditions do i gotta do
Ending A requires you to keep the happiness high from early on. If you see dialogue on Day 9 you should be able to get it.
i tried that kinda and got the message at day 9 but still got ending B. do i need to do something else too?
Ending A is set by hitting four extra dialogues throughout the playthrough, which require happiness above 85% by the time you reach them. Day 9 is the earliest day, and a bit lower target than the rest so that it's still possible without the SULMF tool. If you can keep raising it up after day 9 you should be able to hit the later dialogues and get ending A. (the second extra dialogue day is 16 so plenty of time to get to 85%)
Ending B is if you have happiness above 70% for most of the playthrough and not trigger all of the four extra dialogues.
Ending C is if you make it to day 35 below 70% affection.
And ending D is the bad end which you really have to tank her happiness to get.

Thanks for letting me know! I'll start using the exe instead of the zip for updated versions.
If you're downloading only the .exe instead of the .zip file you can just choose to show more/show details and click "run anyway" instead of "don't run"
This is sick. I'm impressed with the effort. I was interested how you handled the sizes, since in the original they were tweened vectors. But it looks like you got around that with just exporting each frame. Very nice.

Also, in your version of the game, Ayla's base breast size doesn't grow when using the Bustofur levelup. In the original it affected Max capacity and Min size, while in yours it increases daily milkiness and max capacity.
Oops! I had kept leaving that for future me, but future me has horrible memory so it never got done. lol
Thanks! I'll add that to my todo list since right now there is nothing to update min size for that to work on. Probably get that fleshed out while I'm updating the characters and values for hard mode since that'll touch some of the same areas.
even after all these years since I played this game on Deviantart my skills haven’t decreased in the slightest since I got Ending A again on my first try
game gets stuck after ending A, can't replay, and hard mode and sandbox cannot be played as a result either

Windows security is flagging this as a severe trojan the instant it's done downloading. Any idea why?
It looks like this is something that happens sometimes with either Godot builds with embedding the project all into the exe (which is how I export mine to keep it tidy), or an issue that sometimes occurs with using 7zip to make zip files (which I also use). I have updated the files to use Windows built-in zip tool and it seems to have cleared the windows defender error.
I also scanned the older copies of the game I used for testing and checked those too. Surprisingly they didn't get flagged, nor did the exes of the versions published to itch once they were unzipped; even though the zips showed as a threat.
It looks like this may just be a false positive from the antivirus, but I don't want to leave that to chance, so I've updated the files so they don't trigger. You should be good now.
It appears windows security still flags the new file as Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml for some reason.
It lists the webfile https://itchio-mirror.cb031a832f44726753d6267436f3b414.r2.cloudflarestorage.com/... as an affected item.
If I try allowing it before windows security wipes the file, it gets flagged and removed anyway, but adds the .exe to the list of affected items.
I don't use 7zip so I can't comment on it, I'm unsure if it's the cause. Though I use Winrar over 7zip precisely because of similar weird complications.
That's strange. It looks like it's flagging on my end now as well. I've uploaded just the exe to see if that gets passed somehow, but I'll be digging into this further to see if there is something in Godot I can do during the export process to stop this from happening.
